SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — A search committee for Indiana University’s regional campus in South Bend, Ind., has picked Governors State University’s Terry Allison as its new chancellor.
IU says the South Bend panel recommended Allison, provost and vice president of academic affairs at Governors State University in University Park. Allison is credited with creating the first five-year academic master plan at Governors State and implementing new programming in information technology, community health, entrepreneurship and urban education.
IU says the selection is subject to approval by university trustees.
