DCFS investigating death of Chicago Heights infant

The state Department of Children and Family Services is investigating the Saturday death of a 6-month-old boy at his Chicago Heights home.
Kemarion Washington, of the 1200 block of Washington Street, was pronounced dead at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights at 10:13 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
DCFS is investigating allegations of neglect, spokesman Jimmie Whitelow said.
In October 2011, DCFS investigated earlier allegations of neglect against the family, Whitelow said.
An autopsy for Washington is scheduled for Sunday.
