Chicago Heights man slain at home

A man was stabbed to death Friday afternoon in his Chicago Heights home, police said.
Levar Stepney, 35, was found at 2:40 p.m. in his apartment in the 19400 block of Glenwood Road with multiple stab wounds, according to police.
He was dead on the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, which said Stepney also had signs of head trauma.
Police said they are interviewing two possible suspects. Chicago Heights detectives and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are investigating.
