One hurt in crash on I-80 near Tinley Park

One person was hurt Tuesday morning when a semi truck and a car collided on Interstate 80 at about 80th Avenue in Tinley Park, police said.
The right lane of westbound I-80 was closed all morning while officials cleared the accident scene, Illinois State Police Sgt. Scott Angus said. The truck rolled over into a ditch after the accident at about 7:20 a.m., police said.
One person in the car was taken to the hospital and the truck driver declined medical treatment, Angus said.
Information on the injured person’s condition Tuesday night was not immediately available.
