JOLIET — Two newly appointed Will County associate judges will be sworn into office at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the city council chambers at Joliet City Hall, 150 W. Jefferson St.
Chief Judge Richard Schoenstedt will administer the oath of office to David Carlson of Plainfield and David Garcia of Joliet. The two lawyers were selected recently to fill vacancies that occurred when Associate Judge Robert Baron retired and a new judgeship was created as a result of the county’s population increase.
The swearing-in ceremony is open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
