A Park Forest woman and her two sons were arrested on warrants Saturday at their home, according to police.

Deputy Police Chief Christopher Marrino said officers learned Maria Puente, 40, Sergio Garcia Jr., 24, and Alex Garcia, 20, all had outstanding warrants and went to their house, 433 Navajo St., about 12:15 p.m.

“Alex Garcia tried to flee and was also charged with obstructing a police officer,” Marrino said.

Will County Jail records show Puente was named in an Orland Park warrant, and her sons on Will County warrants from a July 2012 incident. Alex Garcia was wanted for domestic battery and resisting arrest and his brother for vandalism.

When arrested Saturday, Sergio Garcia was wearing a Riverdale police T-shirt but is not a police officer, Marrino said.
