Oak Lawn police are investigating the report of a gunshot fired about 2 p.m. Monday at the Airway Mobile Home Community at 91st Street and Cicero Avenue.
A security guard for the mobile home park said no injuries were reported, and that police were looking for a “kid in a light-colored sweatshirt.”
Mayor Sandra Bury confirmed that there was a report of a shot fired there Monday.
Police on the scene Monday afternoon placed yellow tape around three mobile homes on 91st Street, east of Kilpatrick Avenue, and a canine unit was present as they investigated.
Police on the scene had no comment, and a phone call to the police department was not returned.
Police vehicles were seen slowly cruising up and down streets of the mobile home community.
