A man tried unsuccessfully to rob a bank in Glenwood last week, the FBI said.
The suspect attempted to rob the Chase Bank branch, 18701 Halsted St., at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 28, according to the FBI, which did not say why the robbery failed.
The man was able to escape and is described as white, in his 30s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and was wearing a dark jacket, sunglasses and a blue knit cap, the FBI said.
