An Oak Forest man was killed and three other people injured in a crash Wednesday morning involving two cars and a Pace bus in Romeoville, police said.
An eastbound Kia Rio on Renwick Road crossed into the westbound lanes about 9:10 a.m. near Rankin Drive, hit the Pace bus head-on and then struck a Ford Fusion, Romeoville police said.
A 67-year-old man from Oak Forest had to be extricated from the Kia and was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, where he died at 12:09 p.m., according to the Will County coroner’s office.
The man’s name was withheld Wednesday, pending notification of family.
Three others — another driver, the bus driver and a passenger on the bus — were treated and
released from St. Joseph, police said.
