A retired Chicago police officer who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease is missing from his Morgan Park home on the South Side.

Darryl De-young, 73, drove away Wednesday from his home in the 2500 block of West 109th Street in a green 1997 Toyota Camry, license plate number B566916, according to a police statement.

Deyoung is a retired police officer who has Alzheimer’s and is a severe diabetic, police said.

He is described as a 5-foot-9, 150-pound white man with gray hair and blue eyes.
