A Midlothian restaurant sustained extensive damage and is expected to be closed for more than a month after a fire broke out there late Sunday night, officials said.
Three Sombreros, 14636 Pulaski Road, sustained an estimated $120,000 in smoke and other damage, according to Midlothian Fire Chief Steve Hotwagner. No one was injured.
Investigators revised an earlier estimate that put the damage at about $15,000.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation Monday.
Fire crews responded to a full fire alarm about 11:22 p.m. Sunday and found smoke rising from the restaurant and flames in the kitchen, Hotwagner said. The building was locked and empty when firefighters arrived, he said, and the fire was concentrated to the grill area of the kitchen.
