The remains of U.S. Army Pvt. Aaron Toppen, of Mokena, were brought back Thursday to the United States, with a dignified transfer taking place at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

Toppen, 19, was one of five service members killed, reportedly by friendly fire, in southern Afghanistan earlier this week. Arrangements are pending.
