The Mokena Community Park District is hosting its annual outdoor flea market Sunday.
“Last year, we had over 130 vendors,” said Erin Cortilet, recreation supervisor.
The park district holds three outdoor and one indoor flea market each year, she said. The next one will be August. Vendors sell or swap tools, clothes, fresh produce and more.
“We really have quite the variety from flea market to flea market,” Cortilet said.
The market allows buyers to enter for free. Sellers’ spaces are $20 in advance or $25 the day of the market.
Vendor check-in is 6:45 a.m. They must bring their own tables and chairs to fit within a 15-foot square space. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Buyers can shop between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase.
The flea market will be held at Main Park, 10925 W. La Porte Road in Mokena.
