Authorities are looking for the public’s help in solving a bank robbery June 11 in Park Forest.

The robber walked into a US Bank office about 12:40 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. After the teller emptied the money draw, the robber went to the next teller and demanded more money, FBI spokeswoman Cynthia Yates said Monday.

“The suspect implied he had a weapon, but none was shown,” Yates said.

The robber walked out of the bank at 99 Indianwood Blvd., Park Forest, with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber was described as a black male, between 5-feet-9 and 5-feet-11 and weighing about 180 pounds. The man wore black gloves and a fencing mask with black mesh to conceal his identity.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI’s Chicago office at (312) 421-6700
