One injured in Matteson robbery

A Country Club Hills man suffered a broken jaw after he and two friends were accosted by a group of five men Dec. 30 outside McDonald’s, 4010 W. 211th St., police said.
They said the victims were leaving the restaurant when five men approached them and asked if they wanted to buy a cell phone.
After the victims said they had spent all their money on food, an altercation ensued in which the one man was injured and another was robbed of a cell phone, police said.
