Two Homewood men were arrested after police raided their home about 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, according to police.
Homewood police and the South Suburban Emergency Response Team raided the home after obtaining a search warrant, police said. The warrant was the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation, police said.
Eric Stevens, 23, 1554 Terrace Ave., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Henry Dondle, 22, of the same address, was charged with possession of marijuana, police said.
Police recovered approximately 24 grams of marijuana and some pipes used for smoking marijuana, police said.
According to police, there have been
previous search warrants for the same address as a result of other narcotics investigations.
After a search warrant was used on Jan. 7, 2011, Stevens was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell it, police said.
After a search warrant was used on July 23, 2010, Stevens was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Homewood police Detective Sgt. Denise McGrath declined to comment about the case.
A phone for the Stevens and Dondle residence has been disconnected.
