CHICAGO HEIGHTS
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Shameka A. Stokes, 31, 22439 Millard, Richton Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a Jan. 9 stop at 14th and Aberdeen streets, police said.
BROKEN DOOR: A rear door was broken Jan. 9 at a house in the first block of West 23rd Street.
NO LICENSE: Aracely Martinez, 40, 352 W. 17th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license and running a stop sign after a stop Jan. 9 at 16th Street and Campbell Avenue, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A television and DVD player were stolen Jan. 9 from an apartment in the 200 block of West 15th Street.
HOME BURGLARY: Copper pipes were stolen Jan. 10 from a house in the first block of Forest Avenue.
PROSTITUTION: Tracy A. Mack, 31, 21664 Peterson Ave., Sauk Village, was charged with soliciting for prostitution, resisting arrest and battery, and Rasikbrai Patel, 55, 3341 Commercial, South Chicago Heights, was charged with using a vehicle in the course of prostitution and improper lane use after a Jan. 10 stop at Star Motel, 460 W. 14th St., police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A television, DVD player and other items were stolen Jan. 15 from a house in the 500 block of Gregory Drive.
BROKEN WINDOW: A window was broken Jan. 16 at a house in the 1400 block of Lowe Avenue.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Two teenage boys broke down a door Jan. 16 and were scared off by a resident of the house in the 600 block of Coolidge Street.
NO LICENSE: Rosalva Pintor-Garcia, 35, 1399 State St., Lot 2, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance and running a stop sign after a Jan. 16 stop in the 500 block of West 14th Street, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A stereo was stolen Jan. 16 from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of West 16th Street.
BURGLARY: Copper pipes were discovered stolen Jan. 16 from a house in the first block of West 24th Street.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A toolbox and tools were stolen Jan. 16 or 17 from a vehicle in the 2400 block of Chicago Road.
BURGLARY: Copper pipes were discovered stolen Jan. 17 from a house in the 200 block of East 24th Street.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Quentin J. Galbreath, 28, of Monee, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having only one headlight and having a defective windshield after a stop Jan. 17 at Chicago Road and the Route 1 Cutoff, police said.
BROKEN WINDOW: A basement window was broken Jan. 18 at a house in the 1400 block of Schilling Avenue.
STEGER
THEFT: About $24,000 in restaurant equipment was discovered stolen Jan. 11 in the 22600 block of State Street.
ID THEFT: Vincent E. Bland, 64, 213 Forest Blvd., Park Forest, was charged with attempted identity theft after he tried to cash a fraudulent check Jan. 12 at First United Bank, 20 W. 34th St., police said.
REVOKED LICENSE: Robin M. Cope, 47, 3226 Union Ave., Apt. 2, Steger, was charged with driving on a revoked license, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a Jan. 13 stop at Union Avenue and 30th Street, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Items were stolen Jan. 13 from a vehicle at Bloom Trail High School, 22331 Cottage Grove Ave.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Items were taken Jan. 14 from a vehicle in the first block of McKinley Street.
BATTERY: Joshua J. Rolek, 23, 3436 Chicago Road, Steger, was charged with battery and trespassing after a Jan. 15 disturbance at a house in the first block of West 15th Street, police said.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Helen M. Henton, 42, 5031 180th St., Country Club Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident Jan. 15 in the 3700 block of Chicago Road, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Dennis J. Keane, 32, 1836 215th Place, Sauk Village, was charged with retail theft after stealing about $121 in baby formula Jan. 16 from Kmart, 3231 Chicago Road, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: John H. Butler, 55, 111 Sycamore Drive, Park Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a Jan. 16 stop in the 400 block of West 34th Street, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A laptop computer, PSP game and a broken iPhone were stolen Jan. 16 from a house in the first block of West 31st Street.
BROKEN DOOR: A rear door was broken down Jan. 17 at a house in the 3100 block of Halsted Street.
