A Harvey man was wounded by a gunshot Jan. 22 as he was driving at 207th Street and Homeland Road, police said.
The victim told police he was driving about 11 a.m., when he noticed he was being followed by a black Cadillac and slowed down, thinking the people in the Cadillac wanted to ask him a question.
When the Cadillac pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle, someone pointed a gun out the passenger window and fired two shots, which broke both side windows of the victim’s vehicle and one of which hit him in a shoulder, according to police.
Police said the man drove himself to St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights for treatment.
