COUNTRY CLUB HILLS
HOME BURGLARY: A flat-screen television and laptop computer were stolen Jan. 16 from a home in the 18600 block of Maple Avenue.
HOME BURGLARY: An Xbox video game system and several video games were stolen Jan. 16 from a home in the 17500 block of Baker Avenue.
HOME BURGLARY: A Country Club Hills woman told police someone broke into her home in the 1100 block of Williamsburg Road and stole two flat-screen televisions and jewelry on Jan. 16.
CAR THEFT: A 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen Jan. 17 while it was left running at KinderCare, 3971 W. 178th Place.
HOME BURGLARY: A cashier’s check for $2,000, a laptop computer and jewelry were stolen Jan. 18 from a home in the 17500 block of Central Park Avenue.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: Louis Seleb, 29, 8808 Washtenaw Ave., Evergreen Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and no rear plate light after a Jan. 19 stop at 167th and Kilbourne streets, police said.
FLOSSMOOR
FORGERY: Lacrish Cotharn, 39, 4760 Flossmoor Road, Country Club Hills, was charged with forgery Jan. 7 after attempting to fill a fake prescription Dec. 28 at CVS Pharmacy, 3200 Flossmoor Road, police said.
THEFT: James Calderone, 17, 18513 Lexington, Homewood, and Neiko Calderone, 18, 1109 Brassie Ave., Flossmoor, were charged with theft Jan. 7 after stealing jewelry from a house in the 2100 block of Marston Lane during a Dec. 5 party, police said.
DRUG CHARGES: Travon Gandy, 35, of Chicago, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and marijuana Jan. 14 in the 700 block of Ash Street, police said.
THEFT: Cash was stolen Jan. 14 from a house in the 1600 block of Tina Lane by men who entered the house saying they needed permission to do yard work on an adjacent property.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Stephanie Neufeld, 27, 17396 69th Ave., Tinley Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and suspended registration after a Jan. 14 stop at Western Avenue and Vollmer Road, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ruon J. Cooper, 43, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, obstructing justice and speeding after a stop Jan. 15 in the 3500 block of Flossmoor Road, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry and other items were stolen Jan. 17 from a house in the 2200 block of Flossmoor Road.
HOMEWOOD
THEFT: Kevin Mallette, 53, 822 Pin Oak Lane, University Park, was charged with theft after refusing to pay a bill Jan. 15 at Little Tokyo Restaurant, 18042 Martin Ave., police said.
DUI ARREST: Lenora Cobb, 45, 15245 Grant, Dolton, was charged with drunken driving after she was found sleeping behind the wheel of her running vehicle Jan. 16 in a lot at Walt’ supermarket, 2345 183rd St., police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Darrius Jennings, 20, 440 Roberts Drive, Glenwood, was charged with criminal damage to property after breaking a window Jan. 16 at a house in the 18600 block of May Street, police said
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Christian Chu, 21, 1227 190th St., Homewood, was charged with domestic battery after a Jan. 16 incident at his home, police said.
THEFT: Catalytic converters were discovered stolen Jan. 17 from two vehicles parked at Freedom Village, 935 Maple Road.
