A Frankfort woman has been sentenced to five years in prison for selling Ecstasy in the Naperville area in 2010.
A Will County judge on Monday found Destinee Clementi, 20, guilty and issued the sentence but recommended she be evaluated for possible enrollment in the Illinois Department of Corrections’ alternative “boot camp” program. Clementi had no prior criminal record.
Clementi lived in Naperville when she was arrested in September 2010 after a month-long investigation by Naperville police, who had learned that she was selling Ecstasy in the area.
She was placed under surveillance and arrested in a parking lot near 111th Street and Illinois 59, where she had Ecstasy pills with an estimated street sale value of about $4,000, police said.
