A 73-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly fondling girls in Homer Glen and Chicago.
Victor Guzman, of 2145 N. Lorel Ave. in Chicago, was taken into custody by Will County Sheriff’s police Friday and booked into the county jail on two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The girls, then ages 7, 11, 12 and 13, told their mother of the alleged abuse in August. She called Chicago police. The Department of Children and Family Services was notified and contacted Will County investigators to tell them Guzman allegedly had “been touching (relatives) inappropriately” since 2009 at his house and a residence in Homer Glen.
Will County detectives interviewed the victims and obtained a warrant for Guzman’s arrest Wednesday.
Guzman posted $1,000 bail Friday and was released on bond. He is not allowed to have contact with anyone under 18, police said.
