MATTESON
POT POSSESSION: Marcus A. Davis, 29, 411 Carrick Road, Matteson, was charged with possession of marijuana and transportation of open alcohol after a Jan. 10 stop in the 4600 block of West U.S. 30, police said.
NO LICENSE: Manuel Lira, 35, 3443 Chicago Road, Steger, was charged with driving without a valid license after a stop Jan. 12 at Harlem Avenue and Vollmer Road, police said.
PLOW PILFERED: A detached snowplow was stolen Jan. 12 from a lot in the 5600 block of Vollmer Road.
THEFT: A catalytic converter was stolen Jan. 13 from a vehicle at Mr. Benny’s Restaurant, 20857 Cicero Ave.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Artell L. Davis-Cooper, 54, 5856 Timberlane Road, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having only one taillight after being stopped Jan. 13 at U.S. 30 and Cicero Avenue, police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Ishai T. McGee, 22, 22516 Crescent Way, Richton Park, was charged with criminal damage to property after a Jan. 15 incident in the 3500 block of 218th Street, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Junior J. Sanders Jr., 36, of Kankakee, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having only one headlight and was arrested on Oak Lawn and Chicago Heights warrants after a Jan. 15 stop at Front Street and Station Drive, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Yvonne Argue, 46, 22411 Butterfield Road, Apt. 104, Richton Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having an obstructed windshield and was arrested on a Will County warrant after a stop Jan. 16 at 216th Street and Charleston Road, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: David M. Schwartz, 43, of Monee, was charged with retail theft after stealing about $137 in merchandise Jan. 16 from Menards, 21530 Cicero Ave., police said.
TRUCK THEFT: A 2003 Chevrolet Silverado equipped with a plow and salt spreader was discovered stolen Jan. 16 from Arnie Bauer, 5525 Miller Circle.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Cash and shoes were stolen Jan. 17 from a vehicle in the 4100 block of Lindenwood Drive.
PURLOINED PURSE: A purse was stolen Jan. 18 from an unlocked vehicle in the 4200 block of Lindenwood Drive.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: LaAngela Boyd-Lambert, 48, 4847 Meadow Lake, Richton Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a Jan. 18 stop at Cicero Avenue and Wal-Mart Drive, police said.
NO LICENSE: Eduardo Marco Lopez, 19, of St. Anne, Ill., was charged with driving without a valid license or insurance after a stop Jan. 18 at U.S. 30 and Central Avenue, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen Jan. 18 from an unlocked vehicle in the 4100 block of Lindenwood Drive.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Fred Kovach, 49, 11208 First St., Apt. 4, Mokena, was charged with driving on a suspended license and running a stop sign after being stopped Jan. 18 at 207th Street and Kostner Avenue, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Mikyiel Carney, 39, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and not wearing a seat belt after a Jan. 19 stop at U.S. 30 and Cicero Avenue, police said.
LICENSE SUSPENDED: Luciana T. Cardona, 35, 5110 Monroe St., Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, speeding in a school zone and not wearing a seat belt after a stop Jan. 19 in the 100 block of Central Avenue, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Anthony D. Mayes, 19, 42 Sundance Court, Matteson, was charged with domestic battery, criminal damage to property and resisting arrest after a Jan. 20 altercation at his home, police said.
SUV THEFT: A 2011 Chevrolet Equinox was stolen Jan. 20 after it was left warming up in a driveway in the 3300 block of Savanna Lane. It was later recovered in Chicago Heights.
NO LICENSE: Oriel Roman-Gregorio, 24, 4101 Lindenwood Ave., Apt. 3S, Matteson, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance and not slowing to avoid an accident after a Jan. 20 accident at Treehouse and Vollmer roads, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Copper pipes were discovered stolen Jan. 21 from a house in the 6300 block of Cornfield Road.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Armando Garcia, 26, 1204 Peggy Lane, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without registration and was arrested on a Cook County warrant after a stop Jan. 23 at Vollmer Road and Cicero Avenue, police said.
SLASHED TIRES: Tires on three vehicles were slashed Jan. 23 in the 300 block of Grafton Place.
