HOMER GLEN

THEFT: Three copper brackets were discovered stolen Jan. 17 from cell towers in the 12300 block of 143rd Street.

NO LICENSE: Michael J. Hope, 48, 13600 Monaghan Road, Homer Glen, was charged with driving on a revoked license, no insurance and running a stop sign after a Jan. 17 stop at Dublin Road and Parker Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Thomas A. Swierczek, 42, 12 E. Illinois St., Lemont, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop Jan. 18 at 143rd Street and Pheasant Lane, police said.

NO LICENSE: Gonzalo Vaquero, 32, of Berwyn, was charged with driving without a valid license and failure to yield after being stopped Jan. 19 at Chestnut Court and Derby Lane, police said.

ATTEMPTED THEFT: A man claiming to be checking power in the area was allowed into a house in the 12000 block of Lakeview Street on Jan. 20 but was scared away when the resident noticed another man entering the home uninvited.

THEFT: Six cell phones and $221 cash were discovered stolen Jan. 25 from Verizon, 14240 Bell Road.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Atta Muhdi, 19, 15105 82nd Ave., Orland Park, was charged with disorderly conduct after threatening another shopper with a BB gun Jan. 6 in the parking lot of Jewel-Osco, 9350 159th St., police said.

DRUG CHARGE: Esvin Miranda, 27, of Glendale Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving without a valid license and no rear plate light after a Jan. 10 stop at 143rd Street and Will-Cook Road, police said.

DUI CHARGE: David Brann, 28, 8454 Austin Ave., Burbank, was charged with drunken driving and driving in the wrong lane after a Jan. 14 stop in the 15600 block of LaGrange Road, police said.

DUI ARREST: Blake Jelen, 24, 17713 Abigail Lane, Orland Park, was charged with drunken driving, driving too fast for conditions and no insurance after driving his car into a ditch Jan. 15 in the 16700 block of Wolf Road, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Saleem Suleiman, 28, 15160 El Cameno Real, 2N, Orland Park, was charged with domestic battery and resisting police after a Jan. 15 incident at his home, police said.

DRUG ARREST: Quinn Captain, 22, 8577 99th Terrace, 204, Palos Hills, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and driving without headlights after a stop Jan. 17 in the 14400 block of LaGrange Road, police said.

HIT-AND-RUN: Arturo Flores-Colin, 25, 9119 Kennedy Court, Orland Park, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and disobeying a traffic signal after running into a Cook County snowplow Jan. 19 in the 10800 block of 143rd Street, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Dwayne Gilley, 52, of Manteno, was charged with disorderly conduct after entering a back yard Jan. 20 in the 11300 block of Longwood Circle and staring at a woman inside the home, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Alyssa Collazo, 24, of Bradley, was charged with retail theft Jan. 20 after stealing eight pairs of shoes between July and January while employed at the Finish Line store at Orland Square Mall, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Sharad Madhav, 64, 14701 Crystal Tree Drive, Orland Park, was charged with retail theft and resisting arrest after stealing baby clothes, scarves, towels and socks Jan. 23 from Macy’s at Orland Square Mall, police said.

DUI ALLEGED: Marjorie Amerio, 44, 9208 Whitehall Lane, Orland Park, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after she was stopped Jan. 24 on Westminster Drive, police said.

DUI CASE: Juan Cruz-Hernandez, 25, 5009 159th St., Oak Forest, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol after a Jan. 24 stop in the 9000 block of Lunar Court, police said.
