FRANKFORT
REVOKED LICENSE: Teia M. Thompson, 39, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a revoked license and was arrested on a Warren County warrant after a Feb. 1 stop in the 7200 block of U.S. 30, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Lamont J. Turner, 37, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and improper lighting after a stop Feb. 2 in the 10300 block of Laraway Road, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Items were stolen Feb. 4 from an unlocked vehicle in a lot in the 21200 block of LaGrange Road.
DRUG CHARGE: Benjamin O. Best, 20, 22997 Folkestone Way, Frankfort, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, underage possession of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and having a loud sound system after a Feb. 6 stop at U.S. 30 and Pfeiffer Road, police said.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: John R. Shouse, 36, of Joliet, was charged with aggravated assault and theft Feb. 6 in the 300 block of Willow Lane.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Sheila Guerrier, 34, 289 Forest Blvd., Park Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having only one headlight after a stop Feb. 8 at LaGrange Road and Lincoln-Way Lane, police said.
VANDALISM: A mailbox was damaged Feb. 8 in the 10800 block of Pembrook Court.
WARRANT ARREST: Rhiannon C. Weathers, 33, 11776 Anise Drive, Frankfort, was arrested on a Will County warrant Feb. 10 in the 20600 block of Lincoln-Way Lane, police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: A house was damaged Feb. 10 in the 7200 block of Virginia Court.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Andrew D. Lopez, 36, 321 Iowa Court, Frankfort, was charged with driving on a suspended license, resisting arrest and no insurance after being stopped Feb. 11 stop in the 11100 block of U.S. 30, police said.
WARRANT ARREST: Jeffrey J. Reddick, 24, of Chicago, was arrested on a Cook County warrant Feb. 12 at Center and Nebraska streets, police said.
MOKENA
SUV DAMAGED: The window of a sport utility vehicle was shattered Jan. 25 when it was parked in the 19400 block of LaGrange Road.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: Jessica Richards, 18, 17248 S. 110th Court, Orland Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment, running a red light and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor after a Jan. 28 stop at 114th Avenue and 187th Street, police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: The manager of Ace Hardware, 11600 Francis Road, told police the driver of a semi-truck hit a light pole in the store’s parking lot Feb. 3 and drove off.
DUI ARREST: Shelia Smith, 47, 19705 Glennell Ave., Mokena, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after a Feb. 4 stop at LaPorte and Wolf roads, police said.
BURGLARY: Someone broke into EggCetera Café, 19709 Mokena St., on Feb. 4 or 5 by prying open a rear door and stole $135 from the register and $200 from a desk drawer.
HIT-AND-RUN: Yesenia Cepeda, 24, of Romeoville, was charged with hit-and-run and improper lane use after hitting a light post and leaving the scene Feb. 5 at 191st Street and Grotovsky Drive, police said.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: Jacob Bottema, 22, 12061 W. Josephine Drive, Mokena, was charged with possession of marijuana and running a stop sign after being stopped Feb. 6 at Front and Mokena streets, police said.
DUI CASE: David Jozwiak, 43, 8041 W. 83rd Place, Justice, was charged with drunken driving, driving in the wrong lane, running a stop sign and improper lane use after a stop Feb. 6 at 191st Street and LaGrange Road, police said.
DRUG ARREST: Alex Battaglia, 23, 8333 Chestnut Court, Frankfort, was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs, marijuana and drug equipment and driving without insurance after a Feb. 8 stop in the 19200 block of Wolf Road, police said.
TRUCK BURGLARY: A GPS system was stolen Feb. 11 or 12 from a truck in the 19200 block of Puritan Drive.
BURGLARY CHARGES: Tyler Stirn, 19, 18430 Zurich Lane, Tinley Park, and Nicholas Dehaan, 17, 11127 Revere Road, Mokena, were charged with vehicle burglary, resisting police and underage drinking after trying to flee police who responded Feb. 12 to calls of two men attempting to break into cars near Leetrim Court and Scarth Lane, police said.
