CHICAGO HEIGHTS
CAR THEFT: A 1998 Volvo 70GLT was stolen after it was left unlocked and running Feb. 3 outside Ricky’s Fine Food and Liquor, 107 E. 14th St.
GARAGE BURGLARY: Two lawn mowers and a bicycle were discovered stolen Feb. 4 from a garage in the 100 block of Floyd Lane.
HOME BURGLARY: An Xbox game system, tablet computer, laptop computer, jewelry and other items were stolen Feb. 4 from a house in the 200 block of West 14th Place.
CAR THEFT: A 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis was stolen Feb. 6 or 7 from the 1100 block of Emerald Avenue and was later recovered nearby with a broken steering wheel lock.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Juan E. Larkins, 58, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having only one headlight after a Feb. 7 stop at 14th Street and Lowe Avenue, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Sharnitta Culbreath, 34, 21921 Olivia St., Sauk Village, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having expired registration and no red taillights after a stop Feb. 7 at Main Street and East End Avenue, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A guitar, amplifier, flute, drill, cash and jewelry were stolen Feb. 7 from a house in the 1600 block of Western Avenue.
NO LICENSE: Charles L. Lowry Jr., 58, 1224 Washington St., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance and running a stoplight after a Feb. 7 stop in the 1400 block of Chicago Road, police said.
BURGLARY: A computer was stolen Feb. 7 or 9 from Dicicco Concrete, 128 E. 14th St.
TIRE THEFT: A spare tire was stolen Feb. 7 or 8 from a vehicle at the Army Recruitment Center, 205 W. Joe Orr Road.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: John Lee Glasper, 52, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, having expired registration and not wearing a seat belt after a Feb. 8 stop at Euclid Avenue and Main Street, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A computer and cash were stolen Feb. 10 from a house in the 100 block of Joyce Lane.
DUI ARREST: Tracy A. Mack, 31, 21644 Peterson Ave., Sauk Village, was charged with drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and running a stop sign after being stopped Feb. 11 at Main and Halsted streets, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Samuel D. Moutry III, 25, 529 Andover St., Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana and illegal transportation of alcohol after a stop Feb. 11 at Beacon Boulevard and Andover Street, police said.
HOUSE BURGLARY: A water heater, furnace, kitchen and bathroom sinks and copper pipes were stolen Feb. 12 from a house in the 1300 block of Center Avenue.
HOUSE RANSACKED: A house was extensively damaged and copper pipes were stolen Feb. 12 in the 1900 block of Revere Street.
DUI CASE: Eduardo Aceves, 22, 149 E. 23rd St., Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and speeding after he was stopped Feb. 12 in the 1100 block of State Street, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A stereo faceplate was stolen Feb. 12 from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Shields Avenue.
ATTEMPTED THEFT: A man who was trying to remove chrome rims from a vehicle stole six lug nuts and fled upon being discovered Feb. 12 in the 1600 block of Sunnyside Avenue.
DUI CHARGE: Kenneth B. Goodwin, 44, 834 Mary Byrne Drive, Sauk Village, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and no insurance after a Feb. 12 stop at Independence Boulevard and Chicago Road, police said.
STEGER
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Joseph Conley, 31, 3 Olympic Village, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a Feb. 10 stop at Sauk Trail and Cottage Grove Avenue, police said.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: Remigio L. Ramirez, 24, 1667 Buena Vista Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after a stop Feb. 11 at 37th Street and Chicago Road, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Matthew Oeler, 26, 3035 Peoria St., Steger, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was arrested on a DuPage County warrant Feb. 11 in the 3500 block of Halsted Boulevard, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Darnell Hardimon, 36, 1809 16th St., Apt. C, Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having tinted windows after a Feb. 13 stop at Sauk Trail and Ashland Avenue, police said.
