FLOSSMOOR

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Thirston Cornelius, 58, 1709 Carolina Drive, Sauk Village, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having an obstructed windshield and possession of drug paraphernalia after a Feb. 11 stop in the 3900 block of Vollmer Road, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, couch and tools were discovered stolen Feb. 11 from a house in the first block of Pembrook Court.

DRUG CHARGE: Lisa Prosk, 39, 2114 Hagen Lane, Flossmoor , was charged with possession of a controlled substance Feb. 14 in the 2100 block of Evans Road, police said.

HOMEWOOD

BATTERY: Christopher Davis, 24, of Chicago, was charged with battery after a Feb. 10 altercation at CDS Marketing, 17450 Halsted St., police said.

HOUSE BURGLARY: A furnace and copper pipes were discovered stolen Feb. 10 from a house in the 3100 block of Hickory Road.

DUI CHARGE: Alfred Lazo, 54, of Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and not reducing speed to avoid an accident after a Feb. 11 accident at Ridge Road and Ashland Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Darnell Leach, 26, 9332 Hunter Drive, Orland Hills, was charged with retail theft after stealing about $117 worth of liquor Feb. 11 from Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.

PILFERED PURSE: A purse was stolen Feb. 12 from an unlocked vehicle in a garage in the 18400 block of Kedzie Avenue.

WEAPON CHARGE: Angelo Pisterzi, 26, 241 W. 10th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, driving on a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and having expired registration after he was found with a switchblade knife during a Feb. 12 stop at 187th Street and Gottschalk Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Deion Qualls, 33, 274 W. 14th Place, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a stop Feb. 12 at 183rd Street and Illinois Avenue, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Joe Johnson, 47, of Chicago, was arrested on a Country Club Hills warrant and was charged with obstructing justice Feb. 12 at 175th Street and California Avenue, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Cornell Peters, 20, of Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving without a valid license and without headlights after a Feb. 13 stop at Dixie Highway and Cedar Road, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: Vanity Arrington, 44, of Joliet, was charged with driving on a revoked license and no insurance after being stopped Feb. 14 in the 2000 block of Ridge Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Serena Whaley, 47, 21717 Azure, Frankfort, was charged with retail theft after stealing about $150 in water filters Feb. 14 from Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
