Man shot, killed in auto in Harvey

A man was dead Sunday after he was fatally shot in a vehicle in Harvey.
The man — identified by the Cook County medical examiner’s office as Carlos Perucho, 30 — was sitting in a vehicle in the 14600 block of South Peoria Avenue when multiple suspects approached him and shot into the vehicle, authorities said.
Perucho, of the 15900 block of South Page Avenue in Harvey, was taken to Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey where he later died, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Harvey police are investigating, but a spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.
