Park Forest, Richton Park police blotter

PARK FOREST

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Christopher L. Ellis, 29, of Chicago; Jason S. Small, 18, 16814 Head Ave., Hazel Crest, and Chanel Sherman, 18, 127 Well St., Park Forest, were charged with attempted burglary May 8 after they tried to break into a house in the 300 block of Herndon Street, police said. They said Small was also charged with unlawful use of a weapon after a stun gun was found on him.

THEFT: A central air conditioner unit was discovered missing May 10 from outside a house in the 200 block of Lee Street.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Fernando Martinez, 23, of Chicago, was charged with attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools May 10 in the 200 block of Norwood Boulevard, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Terry J. Clay, 39, 23453 Western Ave., Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a May 10 incident outside his home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Beer and food were stolen May 11 from a house in the first block of Rocket Circle.

HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions were stolen May 11 from a house in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard.

BROKEN WINDOW: A can of soup was thrown through a window May 11 at a house in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen May 11 from a house in the 200 block of Arrowhead Street.

NO LICENSE: Charles Turner, 29, 321 Winnebago St., Park Forest, was charged with driving on a revoked license and obstructing justice after a stop May 12 on his block, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions were stolen May 12 from a house in the 400 block of Wildwood Drive.

THEFT: A lawn mower, branch trimmer and gardening tools were discovered stolen May 13 from a carport in the 400 block of Talala Street.

THEFT: An aluminum scaffolding plank was stolen May 14 from outside a house in the 200 block of Mohawk Street.

BROKEN WINDOW: A pellet was shot through a second-floor window May 14 or 15 at Park Forest Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive.

HOME BURGLARY: Two computers, three video game systems, a phone and other items were stolen May 15 from a house in the 200 block of Sangamon Street.

THEFT: Andre T. Wright, 37, 12922 Page Court, Blue Island, was charged with theft May 15 after he made a fraudulent rental at U-Haul Rental, 2210 Western Ave., police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Brandon O. Alexander, 27, 434 Tomahawk St., Park Forest, was charged with disorderly conduct and was arrested on a Richton Park warrant after he was discovered peeping in a window May 15 in the 400 block of Shabbona Drive, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen May 15 from a house in the first block of Rocket Circle. The television was later recovered in a nearby shed.

POT POSSESSION: Butch M. Medina, 25, 4524 Windsor, Richton Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and having expired registration after a stop May 16 at Orchard Drive and Sauk Trail, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A guitar and amplifier were stolen May 16 from a house in the 300 block of Neola Street. Both items were later recovered nearby.

HOME BURGLARY: A shotgun, pistol, ammunition and cash were stolen May 16 from a house in the 200 block of Arrowhead Street.

THEFT: Catalytic converters were stolen May 16 from five vehicles at U-Haul Rental, 2210 Western Ave.

BURGLARY: Two tablet computers, 12 cell phones and 24 sets of earphones were stolen May 16 from Stateline Wireless, 110 S. Orchard Drive.

RICHTON PARK

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Nicky Grabin, 37, of Destin, Fla., was charged with driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 12 at Sauk Trail and the Interstate 57 on ramp, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Rachel Fort, 18, 4428 Bertz Ave., Richton Park, was charged with domestic battery and reckless conduct after a May 13 disturbance at an apartment in the 3900 block of Tower Drive, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Alexous Brown, 27, 853 Harvard Lane, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having expired registration after a May 13 stop in the 5000 block of Sauk Trail, police said.

RECKLESS CONDUCT: Marcus M. Garrett, 32, 4316 Whitehall Lane, Richton Park, was charged with reckless conduct after a May 13 incident at his home, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Mack H. Heard, 18, 5041 Harbor Lane, Richton Park, was charged with disorderly conduct after he pulled a fire alarm May 14 at Rich South High School, 5000 Sauk Trail, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Patrick Tidwell Jr., 30, 921 White Oak Lane, University Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after being stopped May 16 at Imperial and Pleasant drives, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A video game system was stolen May 16 from a house in the 22600 block of Parkview Drive.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Michael A. Collier III, 18, 4521 Heartland Drive, Apt. C, Richton Park, was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property after a May 16 altercation at his home, police said.

BROKEN WINDOW: A brick was thrown through a window May 16 at a house in the 22600 block of Lake Shore Drive.

HOME BURGLARY: Three windows were broken and tools were discovered stolen May 17 from a house in the 4200 block of Greenbriar Lane.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Tracy T. Robinson, 25, 4503 Carol Ann Lane, Richton Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 17 at Latonia Lane and Washington Street, police said.
