CHICAGO HEIGHTS

HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions, a video game system, a DVD player and watch were stolen May 13 from a house in the 1300 block of Schilling Avenue.

HOME BURGLARY: A window air conditioning unit and power tools were stolen May 13 or 14 from a house in the 400 block of Concord Drive.

THEFT: A lawn mower was stolen May 14 from the back of a truck at Los Portales, 2 E. Main St.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Lantira Culverson, 33, 584 W. 14th Place, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 14 at 14th Street and Center Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Jesus Aguilar, 27, 1131 Union Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a May 14 disturbance at his home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen May 14 from a house in the 1900 block of Adams Street.

STOLEN COPPER: Copper pipes were reported stolen May 14 from the walls of a house in the 500 block of Gregory Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Mark A. Amos, 43, 433 W. 14th Place, Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a May 14 incident at his home, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A toolbox was stolen May 14 or 15 from a vehicle in a lot in the first block of Olympic Village.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: Items were stolen May 14 or 15 from a van in the 1600 block of South Halsted Street.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION: Winston S. Cole, 59, 1623 Butler Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with public intoxication after he created a disturbance May 15 in the lobby of the Chicago Heights Police Department, 1601 S. Halsted St., police said.

DOGNAPPING: Someone stole a 2-year-old female bull mastiff May 15 from a house in the first block of East 24th Street.

STOLEN SCOOTER: A 2009 Baja SC150 scooter was stolen May 15 from a lot at Beacon Boulevard and Western Avenue and was found later crashed and abandoned.

ASSAULT: Casey Gordon, 26, 1630 Ingrid Lane, Chicago Heights, was charged with assault after a May 16 incident in the 400 block of Concord Drive.

DUI ARREST: William D. Burgy, 22, 17847 Brookfield Circle, Orland Park, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana after he was found passed out in the driver’s seat of his running vehicle May 16 at Walgreens, 1401 Western Ave., police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television and computer were stolen May 16 from an apartment in the 100 block of East 23rd Street.

FIREWORKS CHARGE: Willard Elam Jr., 18, 6306 Sunflower Road, Matteson, was charged with possession of fireworks, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 16 at 15th Street and Union Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Amanda D. White, 28, 1320 Portland Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a May 16 altercation at her home, police said.

ASSAULT: Paul Rupright Jr., 57, 606 De Angelis Court, Chicago Heights, was charged with assault after a May 16 incident at the Chicago Heights Country Club golf course, 1112 Scott Ave., police said.

NO LICENSE: Jesus Flores-Soto, 36, 33 E. 21st St., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license and no insurance after a May 17 stop at 16th Street and Vincennes Avenue, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions and shoes were stolen May 17 from an apartment in the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue.

BATTERY: Antonio Lopez, 26, 405 W. 15th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with battery after he pushed a police officer May 17 outside his home, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Brian Thomas, 35, 1333 Center Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, running a stop sign and a stoplight and no insurance after being stopped May 17 at 15th Street and Center Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Harold Mount, 62, 1506 Shields Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a May 17 disturbance at his home, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Rasheenah Gray, 32, 219 E. 26th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 17 at 16th Street and Union Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Tonia Gant, 26, 5 Antioch Place, Park Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without headlights after a May 17 stop at Beacon Boulevard and Andover Street, police said.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION: Johnetta Williams, 21, of Milwaukee, was charged with public intoxication after she created a disturbance May 18 in a lot in the 19400 block of Glenwood Road.

CAR THEFT: A 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix that was left unlocked and running was stolen May 18 in the 1100 block of Fifth Avenue.

BROKEN WINDOW: A window was broken May 18 at a house in the 400 block of West 17th Street.

DUI CHARGE: John E. Sanders, 55, 22442 Arquilla Drive, Richton Park, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol and having expired registration after a stop May 18 at 14th and Aberdeen streets, police said.

THEFT: About $700 worth of electrical equipment was stolen May 18 in the 1300 block of Fifth Avenue.

STEGER

HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry and other items were stolen May 16 from a house in the 3300 block of Florence Avenue.

VANDALISM: A picnic table was found damaged May 17 at Veterans Park, 3501 Phillips Ave.

WARRANT ARREST: William E. Miller, 30, 3642 Morgan St., Steger, was arrested May 17 at his home on Will County and Bridgeview warrants, police said.

BREAK-IN: A rear door was forced open May 18 at a house in the 200 block of Dorsetshire Street.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Calvin J. Winfield, 25, of East Chicago, Ind., was charged with driving on a suspended license and having a loud muffler after a stop May 18 at Sauk Trail and State Street, police said.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: A portable toilet was knocked over, sports facilities were damaged and a sewer cover was removed May 19 outside Columbia Central Middle School, 94 W. Richton Road.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Rodney D. Etheridge, 25, 30 E. 34th St., Apt. 3, Steger, was charged with domestic battery after a May 19 incident at his home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Items were stolen May 21 from an apartment in the first block of West 34th Street.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Gutters and downspouts were ripped off a building May 21 in the 3300 block of Chicago Road.
