Park Forest, Richton Park police blotter

PARK FOREST

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Gregory D. Griggs, 32, 556 Willow St., Matteson, was charged with disorderly conduct May 16 after he created a disturbance in the 300 block of Lakewood Boulevard, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry, shoes and electronic items were stolen May 17 from an apartment in the 2600 block of Western Avenue.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A purse was stolen May 17 from a vehicle in the 300 block of Suwanee Street.

BREAK-IN: A door was broken down and items were disturbed May 17 at a house in the 200 block of Blackhawk Drive.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Kent Horton, 57, 23441 Western Ave., Apt. B16, Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a May 17 incident at his home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen May 17 from a house in the 200 block of Tampa Street.

DOGNAPPING: Daniel Sigers, 23, 238 Gentry St., Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery and theft, and Christina Sigers, 21, 539 Hickok, University Park, was charged with battery and theft after a May 17 altercation in which a dog was stolen in the 100 block of Peach Street, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A wedding ring was stolen May 17 from an apartment in the first block of North Arbor Trail.

HOME BURGLARY: Someone entered an unlocked window and stole a video game system May 18 from a house in the 300 block of Neola Street. The game system was later recovered outside.

BROKEN WINDOWS: Two windows at the rear of a house were discovered broken May 18 in the 300 block of Neola Street.

ASSAULT: Clinton R. Harper, 44, 102 Nanti St., Park Forest, was charged with assault after a May 19 incident at his home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television and jewelry were stolen May 20 from a house in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard.

HOME BURGLARY: A computer was stolen May 20 from a house in the 400 block of Douglas Street.

HOME BURGLARY: Several items were stolen May 20 from an apartment in the first block of Hemlock Street.

BROKEN WINDOW: A window was broken May 21 at Reliable Health Care, 260 Main St.

HOME BURGLARY: A window air conditioning unit was pushed in and electronic items were stolen May 21 from a house in the 200 block of Somonauk Street.

BREAK-IN: A rear door was kicked in May 22 at a house in the 100 block of Willow Street.

HOME BURGLARY: Two Park Forest boys, ages 16 and 15, face juvenile charges after they were seen leaving the scene of a home burglary in the first block of Well Court on May 22, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Dana G. Jones, 53, 441 Suwanee St., Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a May 22 altercation at his home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen May 22 from a house in the 100 block of Indianwood Boulevard.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Eric L. Richardson, 41, 401 Neosho St., Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery and interfering with a report of domestic violence battery after a May 23 incident at his home, police said.

RICHTON PARK

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ryan G. Thompson, 20, 428 Shabbona Drive, Park Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 19 in the 3600 block of Sauk Trail, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Allen Mputu, 21, 1000 Warrick St., Matteson, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after a May 20 stop at Sauk Trail and Cicero Avenue, police said.

WARRANT AREST: Divine Arnsby-Boykins, 21, 322 Marquette St., Park Forest, was arrested on a Richton Park warrant May 20 at Bruce Street and East Drive, police said.

BROKEN WINDOW: A basement window was broken May 20 at a house in the 5300 block of Arquilla Drive.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Latrell Brown, 3849 Janis Drive, Richton Park, was charged with disorderly conduct May 21 in the 22800 block of Niamh Court, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Tasha Overtow, 28, 715 Burnham, University Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 21 at Central Avenue and Sauk Trail, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Tracey Butler, 20, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having expired registration after being stopped May 21 at Cicero Avenue and Laurel Drive, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Screens were damaged and pry marks were found May 21 on a door of a house in the 22400 block of Arquilla Drive.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Brittany Bobo, 21, 508 Appian Way, Matteson, was charged with disorderly conduct May 21 in the 4400 block of Balmoral Drive, police said.

BROKEN WINDOWS: Two windows were broken May 21 at a house in the 4300 block of Greenbrier Lane.

BROKEN WINDOW: A brick was thrown through a window May 21 at a house in the 22400 block of Millard Avenue.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A phone was stolen May 21 from a vehicle in the 4700 block of Sauk Trail.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Bejann E. Martin, 26, 14800 Robey, Harvey, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, not securing a child in a safety seat and not wearing a seat belt after a stop May 22 at Sauk Trail and Main Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Kenneth A. McCoy, 50, 15044 Chicago Road, Dolton, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt after being stopped May 22 at Brook Street and Meadowlake Drive, police said.

BREAK-IN: A basement window was broken and a rear door was left ajar May 22 at a house in the 22600 block of Lake Shore Drive.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Brandon Bains, 28, 4404 Imperial Drive, Richton Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without headlights after a May 22 stop at Latonia Lane and Lincoln Boulevard, police said.

ROBBERY: A 12-year-old Matteson boy was pushed down and robbed of his clarinet and shoes May 23 by a man in the 3000 block of St. Ives Court.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A GPS unit was stolen May 23 from a vehicle in the 22100 block of Hawthorne Way.

BURGLARY: About $300 in food items were stolen May 23 from the concession stand at Glaeser Park, Belmont Road and Poplar Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Larry D. Jeffery, 38, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and improper use of registration after a stop May 23 at Sauk Trail and Interstate 57, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A purse was stolen May 23 from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Keenehand Court.

DAMAGED DOOR: A rear door was discovered kicked in May 24 at a house in the 4200 block of Greenbriar Lane.

DAMAGED DOOR: A rear door was pried open May 24 at Rich City Skate, 4645 Sauk Trail.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: The contents of a wallet were stolen May 24 from a vehicle in the 22100 block of Kostner Avenue.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Alex E. Bly, 71, 5022 Euclid Lane, Richton Park, was charged with disorderly conduct May 24 outside his home, police said.
