MATTESON

DUI ARREST: Richard LePert, 60, 3905 214th Place, Matteson, was charged with drunken driving after a June 1 accident at U.S. 30 and Governors Highway, police said.

NO LICENSE: Sergio S. Gallegos, 32, of Momence, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance and having expired registration after a stop June 2 at Vollmer Road and Ridgeland Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Cynthia D. Scott, 30, 36 Denise Court, Matteson, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and speeding after being stopped June 3 at Vollmer Road and Redbarn Street, police said.

CAR THEFT: A 2004 Ford Taurus was stolen June 3 from a driveway in the 700 block of Kostner Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Veronica R. McAfee, 24, 313 W. 35th St., Apt. 312, Steger, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having expired registration after a June 3 stop at U.S. 30 and Dettmering Road, police said.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Nicholas A. Woods, 23, of Chicago, was charged with criminal damage to property and trespassing after a June 3 incident in the 100 block of Sundance Road, police said.

NO LICENSE: Humberto Paredes, 54, 1304 Schilling Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance and speeding after a stop June 4 at Vollmer Road and Odyssey Street, police said.

DUI CASE: Charles E. Young, 55, 2849 E. 223rd Place, Sauk Village, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and driving on the wrong side of the road after a June 4 accident at Crawford Avenue and Lindenwood Drive, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Duncan E. Kelley, 20, 220 Mayfair, Chicago Heights, was arrested on an Elgin warrant June 5 in the 21200 block of Dettmering Drive, police said.

BURGLARY: Cash and credit cards were stolen June 6 from Hanger Orthopedic, 4525 W. 211th St., on June 6.

SUV THEFT: A 2007 Chevrolet Equinox was stolen June 7 from a lot in the 21400 block of Southwick Drive.

COCAINE CHARGE: Marcus A. Davis, 29, 411 Carrick Road, Matteson, was charged with possession of cocaine June 7 in the 4200 block of Lindenwood Drive.

PURLOINED PURSE: A purse was stolen June 8 from a vehicle in an open garage in the 5900 block of Kathryn Lane.

SUV THEFT: A 2006 Buick Rendezvous was stolen June 8 from a driveway in the 6400 block of Gray Hawk Drive. It was later recovered in Riverdale.

EMPLOYEE THEFT: Shanta R. Dawson, 21, 307 W. 17th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with theft June 8 after stealing more than $700 cash while working at CW Price, 4204 W. U.S. 30, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television, game system and other electronics were stolen June 8 from a house in the 21200 block of Maple Street.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Davie L. Malone, 22, 4233 Clark Drive, Richton Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and registration and no insurance after a stop June 9 at Matteson Avenue and U.S. 30, police said.

GARAGE BURGLARY: A bicycle was stolen June 9 or 10 from a garage in the 5600 block of Cornell Way.

DAMAGED DOOR: A door frame was damaged June 9 or 10 by someone trying to break in to a house in the 2400 block of Echelon Circle.

BURGLARY: Four men used a crowbar to smash glass doors and used two trash cans to steal nearly $9,000 worth of electronics June 10 from Toys ‘R Us, 5001 U.S. 30, police said.

RECKLESS DRIVING: Douglas W. Allison, 45, 21136 Dettmering Drive, Matteson, was charged with reckless driving after a June 11 incident in the 6500 block of Gray Hawk Drive, police said.

NO LICENSE: Adrian Garduno, 24, of Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license and running a stop sign after he was stopped June 11 at Central Avenue and Allemong Drive, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A game system was stolen June 12 from a house in the 900 block of Princeton Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Beverly P. Menafee, 59, 15152 Dorchester, Dolton, was charged with driving on a suspended license and registration and no insurance after a June 12 stop at U.S. 30 and Lindenwood Drive, police said.

DAMAGED PROPERTY: An above-ground swimming pool was damaged June 12 or 13 in the 800 block of Campus Avenue.

HOME BURGLARY: A television, three game systems, jewelry and other items were stolen June 14 from an apartment in the 4100 block of Lindenwood Drive.

WARRANT ARREST: Chassitte Cobb, 38, 443 Danielle Ave., Matteson, was arrested on Tinley Park and Darien warrants June 14 at Danielle Avenue and Beechwood Road, police said.

PARK FOREST

HOME BURGLARY: Credit cards were stolen June 12 from a house in the 100 block of Algonquin Street.

BROKEN WINDOW: A rock was thrown through a window June 12 at a house in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A tool box and change were stolen June 13 from a vehicle in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

BROKEN WINDOW: A window was broken June 13 at a house in the 200 block of Miami Street.

BREAK-IN: A door was damaged and a man was found inside a house June 13 in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard. The man fled upon being discovered.

HOME BURGLARY: A water heater and an air conditioner were discovered stolen June 13 from a house in the 300 block of Nokomis Street.

POT POSSESSION: Brian A. Cullen, 26, 77 Dogwood St., Park Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license and having only one headlight after a stop June 15 in the 300 block of Indianwood Boulevard, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Montel Louis-Jean, 19, 277 Arrowhead St., Park Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a June 16 incident at his home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A television, game system, computer and other items were stolen June 16 from a house in the 200 block of Allegheny Street.

VANDALISM: A bathroom was damaged June 16 at Central Park, 420 Lakewood Blvd.

HOME BURGLARY: Kenneth J. Brown, 17, 2679 Western Ave., Park Forest, was charged with residential burglary June 16 after he broke into a house in the first block of Choate Road on June 4, police said.
