CHICAGO HEIGHTS

HOME BURGLARY: A safe containing a handgun, ammunition and paperwork was stolen July 6 or 7 from an apartment in the 1600 block of Oak Street.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Christopher Serratos, 24, of Hammond, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a stop July 9 at 14th Street and Indiana Avenue, police said.

NO LICENSE: Richard A. Troiani, 23, 222 Brentwood Drive, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving without a valid license and no insurance after a July 9 stop on his block, police said.

BURGLARY: Copper pipes were discovered stolen July 9 from a house in the 500 block of Minette Lane.

BROKEN WINDOWS: Twelve windows were shattered July 10 at Roosevelt School, 1345 Sunnyside Ave.

TRESPASSING: Stanley T. Williams, 27, 4104 Lindenwood Drive, Matteson, was charged with trespassing after he created a disturbance July 10 at the Chicago Heights Public Library, police said.

ASSAULT: John W. Schuricht, 29, 1059 Abbot, University Park, was charged with assault after a July 10 disturbance in the 800 block of MacArthur Drive, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Vondarvin Fuller, 37, 13058 Wood St., Blue Island, was charged with driving on a suspended license, improper backing and improper lane use after a stop July 10 in the 1500 block of Euclid Avenue, police said.

ASSAULT: Juanita Patton, 47, 450 W. 16th St., Apt. G3, Chicago Heights, was charged with assault after a July 11 incident at a neighbor’s house, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Alejandro Ramirez, 32, 138 Elder St., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a July 11 incident at his home, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A garage door opener and a camera were stolen July 11 from a vehicle in the 300 block of West 16th Place.

REVOKED LICENSE: James L. Nelson, 60, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a revoked license and having a loud muffler after being stopped July 11 in the 400 block of West 16th Street, police said.

ARSON: A plastic slide was reported damaged by fire July 11 at Serena Hills School, 255 Pleasant Drive.

SOUTH CHICAGO HEIGHTS

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Joseph Agee, 29, 2707 Commercial Ave., South Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery after a July 4 incident at his home, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Daniel Horvath, 43, 1712 Dixie Highway, Crete, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, running two stop signs and speeding after a July 7 stop at Interocean Avenue and Chicago Road, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: William Raguse, 49, of Sterling, Ill., was charged with driving on a suspended license and improper lane use after being stopped July 7 in the 2700 block of Commercial Avenue, police.

DUI ARREST: Leonard Suhrbier, 60, 54 Ellen St., Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and having expired registration after a stop July 7 in the 3400 block of Chicago Road, police said.
