Oak Lawn police blotter

OAK LAWN

DUI ARREST: Christopher Miller, 47, 5748 W. 88th Place, Oak Lawn, was charged with drunken driving and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident July 18 following an accident at 95th Street and Marion Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Miguel A. Martinez Jr., 23, 9727 Tripp Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with retail theft July 24 after he stole goods from Kmart, 4101 W. 95th St., police said.

THEFT: About $430 was stolen July 24 or 25 from the safe and two cash boxes at Lawn Aqua Club, 4500 W. 111th St.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Monica Reveles, 29, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and texting while driving after a stop July 26 at 95th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Charles Cryer, 46, of Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, speeding, improper lane use and no insurance July 26 after a stop at 101st Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Emmanuel Ojeda, 22, 2442 Orchard St., Blue Island, was charged with driving on a suspended license, following too closely and no insurance after a July 27 stop at 105th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

BATTERY: Brian Cottrell, 42, of Richmond, Texas, was charged with battery and criminal damage to property after a July 27 disturbance the Oak Lawn Park District Dog Park, 9930 Melvina Ave., police said.

THEFT: A wheelbarrow and scaffolding were stolen between July 27 and 30 from a construction site in the 4700 block of 95th Street.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Aress Wilson, 21, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after being stopped July 28 at 107th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Quency Phillips, 34, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license July 28 after a stop at 95th Street and Nashville Avenue, police said.

MARIJUANA ARREST: Christopher M. Enriquez, 32, 7854 Rutherford Ave., Burbank, was charged with possession of marijuana after he was stopped July 28 at 95th Street and 51st Avenue, police said.

DUI ALLEGED: Michael Arujo, 18, 7740 W. Floral Court, Frankfort, was charged with drunken driving, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a permit, possession of marijuana, improper lane use and no insurance after a stop July 29 at 103rd Street and Kildare Avenue, police said.

DUI CASE: Juan L. Morales, 29, of Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, driving on a revoked license, improper lane use, no insurance and transportation of open alcohol Aug. 1 after a stop at 105th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.
