FRANKFORT
WARRANT ARREST: Darien E. Wells, 26, of Chicago, was arrested on a DuPage County warrant July 25 in the 1000 block of Lambrecht Road, police said.
THEFT: Items were stolen July 25 from outside a vehicle in the 11000 block of U.S. 30.
DUI ARREST: Kevin M. Robinson, 23, 7317 Woodlawn Drive, Frankfort, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and speeding after a July 28 stop at U.S. 30 and 84th Avenue, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Items were stolen July 28 from a vehicle in the 20800 block of LaGrange Road.
DUI CHARGE: Wilhelmina C. Collins, 35, 5525 Cromwell Lane, Oak Forest, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper parking after a stop July 28 at Elsner Road and Nebraska Street, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Alyssa N. Crawford,, 23, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having expired registration after being stopped July 29 at U.S. 30 and Cox Avenue, police said.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION: David Korczak, 24, 8649 Hotchkiss Drive, Frankfort, was charged with public intoxication July 29 outside his home, police said.
WILL COUNTY
CARTS DAMAGED: Two golf carts were damaged July 19 by someone hot wiring them to drive them around Square Links Golf Course in the 7800 block of St. Francis Road in Frankfort Township.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Someone removed about 15 landscaping bricks from a retaining wall, emptied three potted plants and broke a concrete pine cone statue July 20 in the 12000 block of Lake View Drive, Frankfort Township.
PURSE RECOVERED: A woman chased down in her car a teenage boy who stole her purse from the vehicle July 20 in the 200 block of Roberts Road, New Lenox Township. The victim told police she put her purse and some bags inside the car, went back in her house and came out to see the teen running off with her purse. She caught up with him in her car and ordered him to give back her purse, which he dropped and fled, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Benjamin Cash, 29, of Joliet, was charged with driving on a suspended license, and Amanda Miller, 19, of Joliet, was charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident after an accident July 20 at U.S. 30 and Schoolhouse Road, New Lenox Township, police said.
VANDALISM: A rock was thrown at a windshield, causing it to crack, and five landscaping lights were stolen July 20 in the 12000 block of Lake View Drive, Frankfort Township.
GRAFFITI: Racial slurs were written July 23 on two windows and a door at Arbury Hills School, in the 19600 block of Beechnut Drive, Frankfort Township.
VEHICLE BREAK-IN: A glove box was emptied but nothing was taken from a vehicle July 23 in the 200 block of Cherry Hill Road, New Lenox Township.
