AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Jerome Dudko, 20, 2827 Rebecca Drive, New Lenox, was charged with aggravated battery, theft, resisting arrest and criminal damage to property after he grabbed a police officer’s glasses from his face, scratching his face, Aug. 6 in the 500 block of Livingston Drive, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Donald Durnavich, 46, 3014 Forest Preserve, South Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no valid registration and no insurance after a stop Aug. 10 at Joliet Highway and Bon Terre Road, police said.
THEFT: Insulation was stolen from a construction site Aug. 13 in the 2700 block of Northern Lights Way.
POT POSSESSION: Jose Pena, 19, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a stop Aug. 13 at U.S. 6 and Farrell Road, police said.
WARRANT ARREST: Robert Gleason, 50, 151 Kalarama Drive, New Lenox, was arrested on a Will County warrant for failure to appear in court after a stop Aug. 15 in the 300 block of West U.S. 30, police said.
THEFT: A cell phone was stolen from a purse Aug. 15 while the victim was shopping at Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: About $100 in cash was taken from an unlocked vehicle Aug. 16 in the 800 block of Bristol Lane.
HOME BURGLARY: A laptop computer and a cell phone were stolen Aug. 16 from a home in the 1800 block of Cornell Drive.
RETAIL THEFT: Gene Wells, 18, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after he stole $200 worth of video games Aug. 17 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.
WILL COUNTY
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A container of coins was stolen from a vehicle July 24 in the 19000 block of Sycamore Street, Frankfort Township.
SCHOOL VANDALIZED: A school employee called police when he observed suspicious activity July 25 involving four teenagers behind Arbury Hills School in the 19600 block of Beechnut Drive, Frankfort Township. The teens fled when police arrived, and officers found a 10-foot section of PVC downspout had been torn from the wall and graffiti scrawled on the south side of the building, police said.
WALLET STOLEN: A wallet with $150 and a container with $5 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle July 25 in the 12000 block of Donegal Lane, New Lenox Township.
HOME INVASION: A gunman forced his way into a Frankfort Township home July 26 and briefly held three occupants at gunpoint before he suddenly ran from the house in the 19000 block of Beechnut Drive and drove off in a sport utility vehicle, according to police. They said no one was injured.
CABLE THEFT: Three six-foot sections of cable and one ground plate were stolen from a cell tower site July 27 in the 13500 block of Maple Road, Frankfort Township.
VEHICLES BURGLARIZED: A GPS unit and sunglasses were stolen from one vehicle and a cell phone, Bluetooth earpiece and three pairs of sunglasses were stolen from a second vehicle July 28 in the 8100 block of Wheatfield Drive, Frankfort Township.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: David Goich, 49, 11617 Swinford Lane, Mokena, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and speeding after a stop July 31 at Morcambe Bay Drive and Schoolhouse Road, New Lenox Township, police said.
WALLET STOLEN: A wallet was stolen Aug. 2 from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Old Hickory Road, New Lenox Township.
VEHICLE BURGLARIES: An iPod and a $55 in cash were taken from two vehicles Aug. 2 in the 500 block of Old Hickory Road, New Lenox Township.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Two GPS units and 20 DVDs were stolen from a vehicle Aug. 2 in the 7500 block of Tartan Road, Frankfort Township.
CAR THEFT: A 2009 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen Aug. 6 in the 200 block of Roberts Road, New Lenox Township.
VEHICLE BURGLARIES: A GPS system, 15 CDs and $8 in change were taken Aug. 6 from an unlocked vehicle, and a debit card was stolen the same day from another unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Roberts Road, New Lenox Township.
