Manhattan man charged with trying to take gun into Midway

A Manhattan man was charged after he allegedly tried bringing a handgun onto a plane at Midway Airport on Friday morning.
About 9:40 a.m., Matthew Bysina, 23, had a handgun in his bag as he went through security at Midway, police said.
Bysina, of the 200 block of South Woodrow St., allegedly told officers that he forgot the gun was in the bag, police said.
Bysina was cuffed and charged with a felony count of boarding an aircraft with a weapon, police said. Sun-Times Media
