Frankfort, Mokena police blotter

FRANKFORT

PROPERTY DAMAGE: A foreclosed house was damaged Aug. 28 in the 22200 block of Pembrook Drive.

DUI ARREST: Joseph F. Kingsbury, 45, 1214 Timber Place, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after a stop Aug. 30 at LaGrange and Laraway roads, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Anthony P. Sullivan, 28, 2052 Spruce Road, Homewood, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after being stopped Sept. 2 at U.S. 30 and Butternut Circle, police said.

BATTERY: Eric Pate Jr., 23, 20249 Countryside Court, Frankfort, was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting arrest after a Sept. 2 incident in the 21200 block of Old North Church Road, police said.

WINDOW BROKEN: A vehicle’s window was smashed Sept. 3 in the parking lot of a business in the 21000 block of Frankfort Square Road.

DRUG CHARGE: Shannon M. Tennison, 19, of Peotone, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and improper lane use after a Sept. 3 stop at Center and Harvest Hills roads, police said.

TRAILER THEFT: A flatbed trailer was stolen Sept. 4 from a business parking lot in the 400 block of Center Road.

WARRANT ARREST: Trevor J. Gavitt, 18, 11300 195th St., Mokena, was arrested Sept. 4 in the 20600 block of Lincoln-Way Lane on a Will County warrant for possession of marijuana, police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Mackenzie Misheck, 21, 9225 Elm Ave., Mokena, and Curt Wdowikowski, 20, 22525 Center Road, Frankfort, were charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after they were stopped Sept. 4 at Center Road and Sauk Trail, police said.

MOKENA

DUI ARREST: Deborah Grossheider, 57, 19912 Anna St., Mokena, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, improper lane use and driving on a curb after an Aug. 29 stop in the 10800 block of LaPorte Road, police said.

TRESPASSING: Yahia Jaber, 24, 17285 Highwood Drive, Orland Park, was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after re-entering 191 South, 10160 W. 191st St., on Sept. 1 after he had been kicked out earlier that night, police said.

BATTERY: Joseph Fernandez, 25, 19600 Everett Lane, Mokena, was charged with battery after punching an Oak Forest man during a disturbance Sept. 1 at Morgan’s, 18700 Old LaGrange Road, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: A GPS system and cell phone were stolen Sept. 7 from a car in the 9900 block of Cambridge Drive.

CAR BURGLARY: A set of golf clubs, a calculator and a cell phone were stolen Sept. 7 or 8 from a car outside a house in the 9800 block of Forestview Drive.

VANDALISM: A window and the windshield were smashed Sept. 7 or 8 on a car in the 19100 block of Weber Road.

HIT-AND-RUN: Michael Michalik, 25, 12122 S. 70th Court, Palos Heights, was charged with hit-and-run and no insurance after crashing into a fire hydrant Sept. 8 in the 10200 block of 191st Street, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: A fillet knife was taken Sept. 8 from a car in a driveway in the 20000 block of Lakeview Way.
