HOMER GLEN

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Julie Steen, 40, 8537 Hotchkiss Drive, Frankfort, was charged with driving on a suspended license and failure to dim headlights after a stop Sept. 19 at 151st Street and Wilco Drive, police said.

WINDOW DAMAGED: A rock was thrown through a vehicle window Sept. 19 in the 12000 block of Derby Lane.

DUI CHARGE: Piotr Wyczynski, 59, of Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a valid license and no insurance after a Sept. 20 stop at 143rd and Oak streets, police said.

TOILET TRASHED: A toilet was heavily damaged Sept. 21 in the men’s room of the Shell gas station in the 12800 block of 143rd Street. An employee told police that seven teens, four boys and three girls, entered the room about 10:50 p.m., she heard a loud bang and the teens fled.

GRAFFITI: Graffiti was scrawled on a van with a black marker Sept. 25 in the 12000 block of Anand Brook Drive.

BURGLARY: A stove, dishwasher, water heater, lawn mower, washer, dryer and two gas cans were stolen Sept. 26 from a home under construction in the 14000 block of Kildare.

DUI CHARGE: Martin Keeley, 49, 17262 S. 71st Ave., Tinley Park, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use, speeding and disobeying a traffic signal after a stop Sept. 27 at 143rd Street and Lemont Road, police said.

NO LIGHTS: Kathleen Kelly, 66, of Orland Park, was charged with driving without headlights and improper lane use after she struck another vehicle head-on Sept. 28 in the 13000 block of 159th Street, police said. Both drivers were taken to Silver Cross Hospital.

DUI ARREST: Luke Herman, 28, 14337 Spring Creek Road, Homer Glen, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and driving too fast for conditions after a stop Sept. 29 in the 14000 block of Spring Creek Road, police said.

TOOLS STOLEN: A drill, socket set, grinder, wrenches and a wire stripper were stolen from a utility trailer Oct. 1 in the 14000 block of Founders Crossing.

ORLAND PARK

RETAIL THEFT: Sahar Haddad, 35, 15427 Badger Lane, Homer Glen , was charged with retail theft after stealing $325 worth of merchandise Sept. 8 from JC Penney at Orland Square Mall, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Jason Jonikas, 25, 15106 Orlan Brook Drive, Orland Park, was charged with domestic battery after a Sept. 9 incident at his home, police said.

EMPLOYEE THEFT: Carole Zimmerman, 47, 17818 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, was charged with retail theft after stealing $255 from the cash register between Aug. 31 and Sept. 10 while employed at JC Penney at Orland Square Mall, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Anthony Safford, 21, 12812 Wood, Blue Island, was charged with retail theft and resisting police after stealing two MP3 players Sept. 10 from Target, 15850 94th Ave., and running from police until he was zapped by a stun gun near 156th Street and 94th Avenue, police said.

CREDIT FRAUD: Stephanie White, 25, 6942 S. Honore St., Chicago, was charged with unlawful use of a credit card and using a counterfeit credit card after admitting she took out multiple $800 cash advances at Fifth Third Bank and Marquette Bank in Orland Park and MB Financial Bank in Orland Hills on Sept. 11 and at several other banks in the area dating to August, police said.

MARIJUANA ARREST: Atta Muhdi, 19, 15105 82nd Ave., Orland Park, was charged with possession of marijuana, having expired registration and driving with only one taillight after a Sept. 11 stop on 94th Avenue, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: An Orland Park boy was charged with disorderly conduct after entering Panera Bread, 9505 142nd St., wearing a hood and a “Scream” movie mask, causing patrons to leave the business on Sept. 12, police said. They said officers determined that no robbery or attack was involved and also lectured the youth on the dangerous nature of such a prank.

DUI ARREST: Mark Thompson, 39, 4955 144th Place, Midlothian, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after a Sept. 13 stop in the 15300 block of LaGrange Road, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Jasira Stokes, 22, 9728 Tripp Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of marijuana and not wearing a seat belt after being stopped Sept. 13 on 159th Street, police said.

DUI CASE: Anthony Comparin, 29, 6538 W. 173rd Place, Tinley Park, was charged with drunken driving and no rear plate light after he was stopped Sept. 15 on Park Hill Drive, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Sean Lally, 8455 Long Ave., Burbank, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving with only one taillight after a stop Sept. 16 in the 16100 block of LaGrange Road, police said.
