Midlothian, Oak Forest police blotter

MIDLOTHIAN

HOME BURGLARY: A gold and diamond ring valued at $3,000 was stolen between Nov. 3 and 9 from a house in the 14700 block of Hamlin Avenue.

POT POSSESSION: Rachel L. Thigpen, 22, of Robbins, was charged with possession of marijuana Nov. 5 after she was stopped in the 4100 block of 147th Street, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Alicia Villicana, 38, of Harvey, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop Nov. 8 at 147th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Jessica M. McCottrell, 25, of Harvey, was charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell it and possession of marijuana Nov. 8 after a stop at 147th Street and Turner Avenue, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: Katrina Chillis, 25, of Gary, was charged with driving on a revoked license following a Nov. 8 stop at 147th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Tracey Herron, 41, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped Nov. 9 at 145th Street and Keystone Avenue, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Benjamin L. Burt, 24, of Lansing, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped Nov. 9 at 147th Street and Harding Avenue, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Daniel W. Nickels, 32, 14630 Keystone Ave., Midlothian, was charged with possession of marijuana Nov. 9 after a stop on his block, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Raymond Rascoe, 42, 14545 Kedvale Ave., Midlothian, was charged with domestic battery Nov. 9 after a disturbance at his home, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Jazzmin Ashley, 29, 4445 W. 129th St., Alsip, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop Nov. 10 at 152nd Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Hugh W. Echols, 9923 Ridgeland Ave., Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a Nov. 11 stop at 147th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Levell D. Nichols, 27, of Matteson, was charged with possession of marijuana Nov. 12 after a stop in the 3100 block of 147th Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Brian J. Jackson, 36, 3928 W. 124th St., Alsip, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped Nov. 12 at 148th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Loretta Barerra, 54, 14900 Pulaski Road, Midlothian, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a Nov. 12 stop at 149th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

OAK FOREST

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Prashant Saroha, 23, 15859 LeClaire Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a Nov. 13 disturbance at his apartment, police said. They said Ramond W. Bradford, 42, a resident of the same building, was charged with domestic battery for a separate incident the same day at his apartment.

DUI ARREST: Ryan W. Walsh, 24, 6140 Laura Lane, Tinley Park, was charged with drunken driving Nov. 14 following a crash at 165th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

WEAPON CHARGE: Dakota Petrey, 18, 15122 Kilpatrick Ave., was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon after a stop Nov. 14 in the 4600 block of 153rd Street, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Ladyia Shavers, 28, 4311 Mann St., Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after an altercation Nov. 15 at his home, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Lynne S. Pelke, 45, 15104 Cicero Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with retail theft Nov. 16 after stealing merchandise from Jewel-Osco, 5616 W. 159th St., police said.

THEFT: An iPhone was stolen Nov. 16 from a student’s locker at Arbor Park Middle School, 17301 Central Ave.

DRUG ARREST: Antonio J. Boone, 21, of Markham, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after a Nov. 16 disturbance in the 15400 block of Central Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Lorenzo C. Rice, 49, 5013 W. 159th St., Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery Nov. 17 after an incident at his home, police said.
