Midlothian, Oak Forest police blotter

MIDLOTHIAN

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Louis W. Taylor, 22, 8130 Marion Drive, Justice, was charged with driving on a suspended license Nov. 13 after a stop at 145th Street and Kedzie Avenue, police said.

DRUG ARREST: Raymond Lipscomb, 30, of Sauk Village, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after a stop Nov. 13 at 147th Street and Albany Avenue, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Gerald Canavan Jr., 36, 16825 Forest Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped Nov. 13 at 147th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Brian K. Whitley, 39, of Robinson, Ill., was charged with driving on a suspended license after a Nov. 14 stop at 147th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Clayton M. Dukes, 20, of Bradley, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license after a stop Nov. 14 at 149th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Bridget Kubicki, 23, 10420 W. McKenna Court, Orland Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after she was stopped Nov. 14 at 147th Street and Harding Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A catalytic convertor was stolen Nov. 14 from a pickup truck on the sales lot of Bill Kay Ford, 14633 Cicero Ave.

THEFT: Eric G. White, 51, 14638 Keystone Ave., Midlothian, was charged with theft Nov. 16 after he stole an air compressor from a garage in the 14500 block of Karlov Avenue, police said.

DRUG ARREST: Tilford Jones, 24, of Robbins, was charged with possession of a controlled substance Nov. 16 after a stop at 146th Street and Keystone Avenue, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Ronny L. Terry, 36, of Robbins, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped Nov. 16 at 143rd Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Delphine Woodard, 51, 14519 Keystone Ave., Midlothian, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a Nov. 17 stop at 147th Street and Karlov Avenue, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Andre Harris, 35, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license Nov. 18 after being stopped at 147th Street and Lawndale Avenue, police said.

OAK FOREST

BURGLARY: An ultrasound machine valued at $14,000 and a laptop computer were stolen between Nov. 16 and 23 from a garage in the 5300 block of Jessica Drive.

VANDALISM: A large rock was thrown Nov. 17 or 18 through the window of an office building in the 5300 block of 159th Street.

NO LICENSE: Maria Alvarez-Fernandez, 26, of Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license, speeding and no insurance Nov. 18 after a stop in the 6000 block of 159th Street, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Thomas R. Ryder, 22, 5039 W. 151st St., Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery and battery after a Nov. 19 disturbance at his home, police said.

TIRES SLASHED: The rear tires of car were slashed Nov. 19 or 20 while parked in the 15600 block of Latrobe Avenue.

VEHICLE DAMAGE: The driver’s side window of a car was smashed Nov. 20 while parked in the 5100 block of 158th Street.

HOME BURGLARY: A handgun was stolen Nov. 20 from a house in the 16100 block of Forest Avenue.

CAR BURGLARY: A purse was stolen Nov. 20 from a car in the 6400 block of Nature Drive.

BUSES DAMAGED: Several buses at Physician Care Services, 16410 Kilbourn Ave., were damaged during the past five weeks. The front bumper of an employee’s car also was removed on Nov. 20.

HOME BURGLARY: A flat-screen television was stolen Nov. 20 or 21 from a house in the 6000 block of Brookwood Drive.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Thuran D. James, 25, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license Nov. 21 after a stop at 159th Street and Laramie Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Jerrell Lester, 27, 5003 W. 159th St., Oak Forest, was charged with aggravated domestic battery Nov. 24 after a disturbance at his home, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Vernon Benson, 40, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding and no insurance after a Nov. 25 stop in the 5200 block of 167th Street, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Bernard V. Phillips, 30, 16001 LeClaire Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a Nov. 25 incident at his home, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Michael Stowe, 22, 5621 Albert Drive, Oak Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana Nov. 25 after he was stopped at 156th Street and Central Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Sherita L. Whitaker, 39, of Hazel Crest, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped Nov. 26 at 153rd Street and Central Avenue, police said.
