COUNTRY CLUB HILLS
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Lynn Washington, 35, 15823 Whipple, Markham, was charged with domestic battery after a Nov. 26 incident that occurred in a car at 183rd Street and Ravisloe Avenue, police said.
CAR THEFT: A 1988 Buick Electra was stolen Nov. 28 in the 4100 block of Gatling Boulevard.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Several landscaping breaks were thrown Nov. 29 through the living room window of a house in the 4200 block of 176th Place.
HOME BURGLARY: A Country Club Hills woman told police she locked herself and her children in a bedroom of their home Nov. 29 in the 19000 block of Cypress Avenue after hearing someone prowling on the first floor. Police discovered a flat-screen television, a video game system and other electronics lying in the home’s back yard.
TABLES STOLEN: Two picnic tables were stolen between Nov. 21 and 28 at Apollo Park in the 1000 block of 191st Street.
VANDALISM: Doors of a vehicle were kicked in while it was parked in a lot Nov. 25 at 175th and Halsted streets.
PACKAGES PILFERED: Three residents reported that packages delivered by UPS were stolen from outside their residences. One incident occurred Nov. 26 in the 18400 block of May Street and two others were reported Nov. 28 in the 300 block of 184th Street and the 100 block of 186th Place.
RETAIL THEFT: Leland Pippin, 34, of Calumet City, was charged with retail theft after he stole 12 CDs from Best Buy Nov. 28 in the 17800 block of Halsted Street, police said.
VANDALISM: Rocks were thrown at a house’s storm door and front window Nov. 28 in the 1100 block of 183rd Street.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Kimberly Heard, 53, of the 18200 block of Riegel Road, Homewood, was charged with domestic assault after a Nov. 29 altercation at her residence, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Bruce Pollmacher, 43, of the 1300 block of Ridge Road, Homewood, was charged with domestic battery following an incident Dec. 1 at his home, police said.
