TRUMPET STOLEN: A student’s trumpet was stolen Dec. 21 in the parking lot of Hadley Middle School in the 15700 block of Bell Road. The student’s mother told police that she set her son’s trumpet case down to retrieve artwork and forgot to pick it up before leaving the parking lot. When she returned 30 minutes later, the trumpet was gone, police said.
THEFT: Robert C. Dickman, 34, 9210 Hunter Drive, Orland Hills, was charged with theft after he stole a computer projector Dec. 22 from the Homer Public Library in the 14300 block of 151st Street, police said. They said Dickman was employed by a janitorial service to clean the library at night.
DUI CHARGE: Dominic Sierakowski, 20, 7804 Mulligan Ave., Burbank, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, illegal transportation of alcohol and no insurance after a stop Dec. 23 at Hadley and Lauffer roads, police said.
KEYS STOLEN: A key ring and two keys were stolen from an unlocked vehicle Dec. 23 in the 12000 block of Beaver Lake Drive.
WINDOW BROKEN: A door window was broken out Dec. 23 at Trantina Historic Farm in the 15700 block of 151st Street.
BURGLARY CHARGE: Christian Kuhny, 22, 14440 Pine Grove Drive, Homer Glen, was charged with vehicle burglary, theft and possession of a controlled substance after a Dec. 24 stop on Onondaga Trail, police said.
DUI ARREST: Donald Rak, 36, 3133 Whipple Drive, Merrionette Park, was charged with drunken driving, making an improper turn, speeding and improper lane use after a Dec. 1 stop on 143rd Street, police said.
CREDIT FRAUD: Latrice Lindsay, 37, of Romulus, Miss., was charged with credit card fraud after using a fraudulent card to purchase $5,000 worth of electronics Dec. 1 from the Apple Store at Orland Square Mall, police said.
IDENTITY THEFT: Matthew Gills, 31, 8139 S. Clyde, Chicago, was charged with identity theft after using a phony credit card to purchase two iPhones Dec. 1 from the Apple Store at Orland Square Mall, police said. They said Gills was in possession of seven fraudulent credit cards at the time of his arrest.
RETAIL THEFT: Mianca Hunter, 20, 1125 W. 127th St., A5, Calumet Park, was charged with retail theft after stealing clothing Dec. 1 from Macy’s at Orland Square Mall, police said.
DUI CASE: Jason Strylowski, 36, 12106 Venetian Drive, Orland Park, was charged with drunken driving after a Dec. 2 stop on Wheeler Drive, police said.
DUI CHARGE: Michael Dimiele, 29, 11523 Kilbourn Ave., Alsip, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after he was stopped Dec. 2 in the 8000 block of 157th Street, police said.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Sheree Morgan, 55, 3549 155th St., Markham, was charged with disorderly conduct Dec. 2 after disrupting services for the third Sunday in a row at Calvary Church, 16100 104th Ave., police said. They said Morgan has was issued a no-trespassing order.
DUI ALLEGED: Asis Herrera, 40, 8969 Meadowview Drive, Orland Hills, was charged with drunken driving, unlawful use of a weapon and no insurance after police found brass knuckles in his pocket after a stop Dec. 2 in the 8400 block of 159th Street, police said.
DUI ARREST: Roman Axocoyopa, 40, of Bolingbrook, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no insurance and improper lane use Dec. 2 after a stop in the 15000 block of LaGrange Road, police said.
RECKLESS DRIVING: Jose Cuamani, 22, 9025 Kennedy Court, Orland Park, was charged with reckless driving, speeding, driving without a valid license, no insurance and improper lane use after being stopped Dec. 4 when he was seen speeding 90 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 7300 block of 151st Street, police said.
