THEFT: A box of figurines was stolen from the back door of a business Dec. 19 in the 1800 block of East U.S. 30.
TOOLS STOLEN: Tools and supplies were stolen from a locked trailer Dec. 20 in the 600 block of Oxford Court.
DUI CHARGE: William Garcia, 19, of Joliet, was charged with drunken driving, underage drinking, no valid registration and no insurance after a stop Dec. 22 in the 2300 block of East U.S. 30, police said.
WINDOW BROKEN: The rear window of a vehicle was broken with a rock Dec. 23 in a movie theater parking lot in the 1300 block of West U.S. 30.
HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry and cash were stolen from a home Dec. 23 in the 300 block of Circlegate Road.
TIRE SLASHED: A tire was slashed Dec. 24 in the 1100 block of Honey Lane.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: About $500 worth of items were stolen Dec. 24 in the 200 block of Tall Grass Road.
WINDOW BROKEN: The front window of a vehicle was broken in a movie theater parking lot Dec. 24 in the 1300 block of West U.S. 30.
LIGHTS BROKEN: Two light fixtures were broken at a home Dec. 24 in the 1600 block of Grand Prairie Drive.
GAS ‘N GO: A customer pumped $75 worth of gas into a vehicle and left without paying for it Dec. 25 in the 400 block of Nelson Road.
VANDALISM: A mailbox was damaged Dec. 27 in the 2300 block of Bluestone Bay Drive.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Thomas Butkus, 41, 879 Winter Park Drive, New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a Dec. 27 stop in the 2100 block of Calistoga, police said.
VEHICLE DAMAGED: A vehicle was damaged Dec. 27 in the 1300 block of West U.S. 30.
PLOW STOLEN: A snowplow blade was stolen Dec. 27 in the 12000 block of Old Plank Drive.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Alando Tucker, 28, of Lockport, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after being stopped Dec. 27 at U.S. 30 and Nelson Road, police said.
REVOKED LICENSE: Eliazar Ballinas, 32, 7121 166th St., Tinley Park, was charged with driving on a revoked license and no brake lights and was arrested on a warrant after a stop Dec. 18 at 191st Street and 88th Avenue, Frankfort Township, police said.
TRESPASSING: Jeremy Edge, 21, 20118 Rosewood Drive, Frankfort, was charged with criminal trespass to a residence Dec. 20 in the 7900 block of Barbara Lane, Frankfort Township, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Christopher Tonn, 23, 4731 W. 187th St., Country Club Hills, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a Dec. 20 stop at Foxford and Willow Lane, Frankfort Township, police said.
ALCOHOL CHARGES: Shane McEldowney, 19, 7639 W. New Castle Drive, Frankfort, was charged with being an drunken pedestrian and underage drinking after he stepped into the roadway and was struck by a vehicle Dec. 22 in the 20000 block of 80th Avenue, Frankfort Township, police said. They said he was taken to Silver Cross Hospital treated for non-life threatening injuries.
ATV THEFT: An all-terrain vehicle was stolen Dec. 22 from a barn in the 9800 block of Stuenkel Road, Green Garden Township.
SUV STOLEN, BURNED: A 2007 GMC Yukon was stolen Dec. 22 from the driveway of a residence in the 9200 block of Magnolia Avenue, Frankfort Township. Sheriff’s police were informed Dec. 25 by Oak Forest police that the vehicle was recovered and had been burned.
