HOME BURGLARY: A video game system was stolen Jan. 7 from a house in the first block of Rocket Circle.
HOME BURGLARY: Three laptop computers, a television, a video game system and a pair of diamond earrings were stolen Jan. 9 from a home in the first block of Apple Lane.
HOME BURGLARY: A television and laptop computer were stolen Jan. 9 from a house in the 400 block of Springfield Street.
CAR THEFT: A 2002 Chrysler sedan was stolen Jan. 9 in the 300 block of Gentry Street.
WEAPON CHARGE: Joyce Pittman, 30, 516 W. 15th Place, Chicago Heights, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of marijuana and passing a school bus while it was unloading after police found drugs and a revolver during a Jan. 10 traffic stop on Sauk Trail at Shabbona Drive, police said.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A resident told police he heard glass breaking at his house after an unknown man rang his door bell for several minutes Jan. 11 in the 200 block of Todd Street. The man fled before police arrived.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Sandra Newcomb, 38, of Danville, was charged with criminal damage to property after kicking and damaging the door to another woman’s home Jan. 12 in the 200 block of Mantua Street, police said.
STOLEN CASH: A resident told police someone on Jan. 12 stole $450 in cash from her car, part of which was money her daughter received at her birthday party earlier that day, after the woman left her car in her driveway in the 300 block of Miami Street.
