COUNTRY CLUB HILLS
THEFT: An air conditioning unit was stolen between Nov. 11 and Jan. 11 from a vacant house in the 3900 block of 168th Place.
PILFERED PIPING: Copper piping was stolen between Nov. 30 and Jan. 3 from a vacant home in the 18500 block of Bellamy Road.
EMPLOYEE THEFT: Marcus Griffis, 22, 16026 Gauger St., Harvey, was charged with theft after stealing a total of about $820 between Dec. 17 and 31 from Wal-Mart, 4005 W. 168th Place, while employed as a cashier, police said.
CAR THEFT: A 2008 Infiniti G35 was stolen Jan. 2 from a driveway in the 4100 block of 192nd Court.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Christopher Ehlers, 58, 4648 W. 177th St., Country Club Hills, was charged with domestic battery after a Jan. 4 incident at his home, police said.
DUI ARREST: Ashley Cooper, 26, 224 Pheasant Road, Matteson, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after a Jan. 5 stop at Flossmoor and Pulaski roads, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Tracy Beasley, 44, 260 W. Hickory St., Chicago Heights, was charged with domestic battery, theft and criminal damage to property after stealing the victim’s cell phone and slashing her tires during a Jan. 6 disturbance in the 1100 block of Williamsburg Road, police said.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Donald Wright, 48, 2227 S. Troy St., Chicago, was charged with disorderly conduct Jan. 7 after threatening while intoxicated to strike protective glass at a gas station on 183rd Street with a hammer if an employee did not call police, police said.
GUNSHOTS: Six residents in and near the 17800 block of Baker Avenue called police Jan. 7 to report approximately 18 gunshots being fired in the neighborhood. Police said they were unable to locate anyone with guns or firing shots.
HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions were stolen Jan. 8 from a house in the 3900 block of 178th Place.
CAR THEFT: A 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt was stolen Jan. 8 after the owner left it running in a driveway in the 17500 block of Country Club Drive.
COKE CHARGE: Walter Davis, 55, 4143 W. 187th St., Country Club Hills, was charged with possession of cocaine and retail theft after stealing several cases of beer Jan. 9 from Wal-Mart, 4005 W. 168th Place, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Charlie Hill, 56, 17939 Poplar Lane, Country Club Hills, was charged with domestic battery after an altercation Jan. 10 at his residence, police said.
BURGLARY: An iPad, hand-held video game, three other video game systems, about 50 video games and a laptop computer were stolen Jan. 11 from a house in the 17800 block of Anthony Avenue.
RETAIL THEFT: Judge Phinnesee, 23, of Markham, was charged with retail theft after stealing merchandise Jan. 5 from Super Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Errikrick Garcia, 27, of the 18500 block of Center Avenue, Homewood, was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property after an incident Jan. 6 at his residence, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Rhonda Graves, 46, of Lansing, was charged with retail theft, possession of another person’s credit/debit card and obstructing police after stealing items Jan. 6 at Jewel-Osco, 17705 Halsted St., and giving police false information, police said.
ARMED ROBBERY: A gunman robbed Family Liquors, 18707 Dixie Highway, on Jan. 7 and fled by stealing the cashier’s car.
RETAIL THEFT: Donald Robinson, 23, of Riverdale, was charged with retail theft after stealing goods Jan. 7 from Target, 17605 Halsted St., police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Mary Conway, 21, of Harvey, was charged with retail theft after stealing merchandise Jan. 9 from Super Kmart, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
WINDOW SHOT OUT: Someone used a BB gun to shoot out a front picture window Jan. 9 at a residence in the 100 block of Ashland Avenue.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: Ki Kadeen Harris, 20, of Hazel Crest, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and speeding after a stop Jan. 9 in the 18600 block of Riegel Road, police said.
CAR DAMAGED: The passenger door lock of a car was punched out Jan. 9 or 10 in the first block of Olive Road.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Eulaletta Pickett, of the 18600 block of Heather Court in Homewood, was charged with domestic battery after a disturbance Jan. 10 at her home, police said.
