Downtown Mokena bank robbed

A heavyset man in sunglasses robbed a Mokena bank Thursday, the FBI said.
The Chase Bank branch at 11124 Front St. was robbed, according to the FBI Chicago office.
The man was described as in his 40s or 50s, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6, heavyset, wearing a gray jacket and a skull cap.
No weapon was used in the robbery.
There have been at least 23 bank robberies in the Chicago area this year, according to the FBI. Last year there were 218.
