VANDALISM: The rear window of a vehicle was shattered April 2 in the 17000 block of Parker Road.
THEFT: An air conditioning unit’s condenser was stolen April 3 after someone cut a section of chain-link fence to enter a cell tower site, 12320 W. 143rd St.
DUI ARREST: Christopher Mihalski, 20, 1023 Cove Ave., Lockport, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after a stop April 6 at 159th Street and Cedar Road, police said.
PURSE PILFERED: A purse was stolen April 6 from a van in the 15000 block of Bell Road.
RETAIL THEFT: Jasmine Griggs, 19, 648 131st St., Chicago, was charged with retail theft after stealing five pairs of jeans worth $270 on March 15 from J.C. Penney at Orland Square Mall, police said.
DUI ARREST: Anthony Przytula, 48, 6124 La Grande Court, Oak Forest, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after a March 16 stop in the 15200 block of 80th Avenue, police said.
DRUG ARREST: David Tieman, 22, 5216 W. 121st St., Alsip, was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after being questioned by police March 21 in the 7200 block of 143rd Street, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Kendra Harris, 19, 3613 84th Place; Kierra Taylor, 18, 8360 S. Damen Ave.; Siara Williams, 21, 3613 84th Place; and Jasmine Williams, 9230 Bennett Ave., all of Chicago, were charged with retail theft after stealing $945 worth of goods March 21 from H & M and $67 in items from Forever 21 at Orland Square Mall, police said.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: Tracy Jones, 31, 627 131st St., Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance and having expired registration after a March 22 stop on 159th Street, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Tuyen Arce, 40, 574 Ranger Drive, Chicago Heights, was charged with retail theft after stealing numerous items March 22 from Carson Pirie Scott at Orland Square Mall, police said.
STOLEN RING: Jose Aguilera, 52, of Crown Point, Ind., was charged with felony theft after stealing a $6,000 diamond engagement ring March 22 from an employee of Mimi’s Café, 16154 LaGrange Road, when the woman briefly left the ring on a cooler, police said. They said Aguilera was delivering beverages to the café and the theft was recorded by a surveillance camera.
RETAIL THEFT: Luke Harr, 24, 9865 Cordoba Court, Orland Park, was charged with retail theft and possession of marijuana after stealing five video game controllers valued at $320 on March 23 from Sears at Orland Square Mall, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Terry Coleman, 29, 9145 S. Halsted St., Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license and and suspended registration after a March 24 stop in the 15600 block of LaGrange Road, police said.
