TRESPASSING: John Williams, 45, 60 Apache St., Park Forest, was charged with criminal trespass after refusing to leave May 3 at Taco Bell, 4167 W. U.S. 30, police said.
DUI ARREST: Alfonta Howard, 32, of Bellwood, Ill., was charged with drunken driving after driving over a grass divider May 3 in the parking lot of McDonald’s, U.S. 30 and Governor’s Highway, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Kathleen Morrar, 56, 3940 W. 134th Place, Crestwood, was charged with retail theft after stealing $160 in pharmaceuticals May 3 from Wal-Mart, 21410 Cicero Ave., police said.
CAR BURGLARY: A gift-wrapped snow cone maker was stolen May 4 or 5 from a car in the 900 block of Dartmouth.
WINDOW BROKEN: A Hazel Crest man told police that he and two passengers were sitting inside his car on Huntington Drive May 6 when three unknown men approached them and broke the rear window with a baseball bat before fleeing.
RUSE BURGLARY: An 86-year-old Park Forest woman told police someone stole more than $6,000 worth of jewelry and $550 in cash April 29 from her house in the 300 block of Windsor Street. A man knocked on her door and convinced her to go in her back yard, under the pretense he was concerned about water damage from flooding on her property.
BATTERY: Melvin Johnson Jr., 31, 243 Mantua St., Park Forest, was charged with battery after fighting another man in the 22000 block of Central Park Avenue on April 30, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Marvin Bentley, 38, 1444 Embassy, Ford Heights, was charged with domestic battery after an April 30 incident in the 200 block of Illinois Street, police said.
THEFT: A grill from was stolen May 2 from outside an apartment in the 200 block of Juniper Street.
STOLEN HOOP: A basketball hoop was stolen from a driveway may 3 in the 100 block of Willow Street,
PHONE THEFT: A 14-year-old Forest Trail Middle School student told police someone stole her cellphone from her backpack at school, 215 Wilson St.
CAR BURGLARY: Someone stole a GPS system and phone charger from a car in the 200 block of Rich Road on May 4.
VANDALISM: The rear window of a car was smashed May 5 in the 100 block of Dogwood Street.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Terrence Young, 21, 195 Washington St., Park Forest, was charged with disorderly conduct after hitting another man in the face May 6 at his home, police said.
DOGNAPPING: A 5-month-old pit bull was stolen May 6 from a yard in the 200 block of Indianwood Boulevard.
POT POSSESSION: Warren White, 20, 244 Indiana St., Park Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana after a May 6 stop at Indiana and Grant streets, police said.
