BIKE THEFT: A bicycle was stolen April 29 in the 1000 block of Shagbark Court.
RETAIL THEFT: Jamella Denwiddie, 29, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after she stole merchandise and attempted to return it April 29 at Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.
WEAPONS CHARGE: Matthew Costenbader, 35, of College Station, Texas, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and speeding after a stop May 2 at Sonoma Road and Washington Street, police said. They said Costenbader had three handguns in the vehicle that were not properly stored.
DUI CHARGE: Timothy Soja, 58, 820 Stonegate Road, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving and no insurance after a May 2 stop in the 2300 block of East U.S. 30, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Michael Choquette, 20, 11606 Brightway, Mokena, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped May 3 in the 600 block of U.S. 30, police said.
DUI ARREST: Jose Fuentes-Jimenez, 31, of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, was charged with drunken driving, speeding, disobeying a traffic signal and no insurance May 4 after a stop at U.S. 30 and Schoolhouse Road, police said.
TAILGATE TAKEN: A tailgate was removed from a vehicle May 4 in the 2900 block of Sheffield Drive.
DUI CASE: Thomas Cosgrove, 40, 1209 Shagbark Road, New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after he was stopped May 5 at Stonebridge Drive and Laraway Road, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Jeffrey Wordelmann, 52, 1211 Maple St., Blue Island, was charged with retail theft after he stole merchandise May 5 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said. They said Wordelman fled the scene, but police located him at Lowes, in the 2400 block of East U.S. 30.
POTS PILFERED: Flower pots were stolen May 5 from along a driveway in the 800 block of Churchill Drive.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: Prescription medication was stolen April 30 from an unlocked vehicle in the 20000 block of Frankfort Square Road, Frankfort Township.
VANDALISM: The windshield of a vehicle was cracked and its hood scratched May 2 in the 8200 block of Orchard Drive, Frankfort Township.
THEFT: An air conditioning unit was stolen May 2 from a vacant house in the 12000 block of Warren Drive, Frankfort Township.
DUI ARREST: Kevin Swanson, 20, 9041 Charrington Drive, Frankfort, was charged with drunken driving and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a May 4 crash at Chatfield and Schoolhouse roads, New Lenox Township, police said.
BARN BURGLARY: An air compressor and a portable jump starter were stolen May 4 from a barn in the 23000 block of Center Road in Frankfort Township.
DRUG CHARGES: Nicholas Geuther, 23, 21339 S. 80th Ave., Frankfort, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and marijuana, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving too fast for conditions and no insurance after a May 5 stop in the 7800 block of Woodvale Road, Frankfort Township.
