CAR BURGLARY: A car stereo and CD player were stolen May 10 from a car in the 1500 block of Schilling Avenue.
CAR BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen May 11 or 12 from a car in the 100 block of Mildred Lane.
THEFT: A Lynwood police officer told police that someone stole her wallet, which contained her police ID and $527, as she shopped May 13 at Food 4 Less, 1333 Western Ave.
TRESPASSING: Edear Nava, 19, 277 W. 15th Place, Chicago Heights, was charged with criminal trespass after breaking a car window and tampering with the car’s gas cap May 14 inside a garage in the 1300 block of Franklin police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Four hair extensions valued at $125 were stolen May 14 from Parkway Food Mart, 1555 State St.
SHOTS FIRED: Several people told police they heard gunshots May 15 in the area of 23rd and Halsted streets, but police were unable to locate any suspects.
